Penn Treaty Park on the Delaware River

Bartram’s Gardens on the Schuylkill River.
Bring your dogs, kids, friends, and your rod and come on out to fish with us on the Delaware (at Penn Treaty Park) or the Schuylkill (at Bartram’s Gardens). These events are designed to foster community and a fun sense of competitive spirit among Derby registrants at two of Philadelphia’s most beautiful marine areas. Extra rods and reels will be on hand for those who need them. If you don’t have kids or dogs you are on your own.
Hog Island Cleanup Day
Sunday, May 22, 2011
Hog Island Road-Directions
The area off of Hog Island road by the Philadelphia International Airport is one of the area’s most popular fishing spots. Because of this, it has also become a dumping ground for garbage and refuse of all sorts. We will provide the gloves and bags for a project intended to beautify this shore-side fishing destination.
